Our annual festival celebrating the community of Temple Balsall and its 800 years of history will soon be here and we hope you will put a date in your diary to join us. Highlights of the weekend will include:
Saturday 13 September
Art Exhibition – open 10.30am to 5pm
Featuring works from many local artists in a wide range of media.
Autumn Fair – open 12 noon to 5 pm
All the usual attractions including hot food, refreshments, games, books, produce, children’s activities, toys, bric-a-brac, raffle, plus displays by Warwickshire Knights Hospitallers and music from Birmingham Concert Band. Guided tours of the historic buildings leaving from the Old Hall – 12th Century headquarters of the Knights Templar
Sunday 14 September
Art Exhibition – open 11.30am to 4pm
Teas and refreshments, stalls, exhibits & guided tours, 2 to 5pm
Choral Evensong – St Mary’s Church – 6pm
with Birmingham Cathedral Choir, preacher Canon Dr James Woodward, former Master of the Foundation of Lady Katherine Leveson.
